The
more of a Resource than a Course
Who were the three B's?
Why were they significant?
Where do they fit in history?
When I was a tutor for Classical Conversations, I struggled with what information to share about the famous composers.
I knew the list of composers were chosen purposefully, and I knew their names because I grew up in a musical family.
(That's Mom at the pipe organ. More than once, she demonstrated the pipe organ to students while they learned about Bach.)
With my technical writing skills, I gathered the facts into succinct sentences that serve as history sentences not only for each composer but for each period in music history.
Then I called Dad! Not only is Dad a retired music teacher but a composer himself. Dad checked my research and chose the additional musical compositions we should all know.
