Carolyn Jean Davis is a speaker, author, certified biblical counselor, and life coach. She is the founder and CEO of Excited Free Living, an organization that serves people who seek to become unchained from the bondage of pain and walk closer to God. She is also the co-founder and executive director of JC Is the Way Ministries, Inc., which exists to reach and equip families through Christ-centered counseling and education. She is a credentialed Dean and Instructor in the Congress of Christian Education of the National Baptist Convention, USA Inc., and the Baptist State Convention of Illinois. She is a well-sought-after teacher and professor at the Chicago Baptist Institute, where she was recognized for her commitment to Christian Education with an Honorary Doctrine of Divinity. Carolyn is passionate about ministering to women and has spoken at their fellowship meetings, women’s day services, and conferences/retreats. She lives with her husband of 40 years, Keith. They have two adult sons.

Carolyn Davis is helping people break chains of pain and deal with life challenges Jesus’ way. She knows firsthand what it’s like to be captive to pain. She was often rejected and unloved by some who were supposed to love her while growing up. To gain their love and approval, she became a classic “people-pleaser. Unfortunately, this approach to life never gave her the acceptance she thought she needed. Instead, it seemed to deepen the pain and perceived need. Now, she can say she is finally free, thanks to God’s loving deliverance. He taught her how to turn pleasing others toward a free and exciting life in Him. She now lives a life full of peace, joy, and contentment and helps people break their chains of pain one link at a time.
